Exciting week!

The last week of February was an exciting one for us!

We found an incredible deal on some leather furniture on Craigslist.  We got a couch, big chair, ottoman/coffee table, and complimentary chair and pillows.  The set was only two years old and had been in storage for most of the last year.  So nice to have furniture again!  We sold almost all of our furniture before we moved out here so we had been without a couch for five months.

Skott happened upon an ad in the paper for a house for rent.  We called and got the address and went to take a look.  Amazing!  Set up an appointment to view the interior the following day.  Fell in love!

So this means we will be moving the middle of March.  Not looking forward to that, but SO looking forward to getting out of this crappy duplex.

Last weekend we went to Newport and along the way, stopped in Depoe Bay.  There is an area there called "Devils Punchbowl".  The ocean was very lively that day and we spent a lot of time admiring the spouts and waves.  The following pictures are taken in sequence, just as fast as my poor little camera would go :)

We also checked out some different beaches.  Found some really neat fossils on one of them.

This weekend we started packing stuff up.... As I type, the sun just came out so think we will duck out for a walk to try and get some exercise in.  It has been quite stormy lately so we need to take advantage of days like this!
